Most Memorable Moment Journal- Atharshan Kennedy

Most Memorable Moment: Outsiders

1.The most memorable part of my assigned part of the book that we are ready" The Outsiders", was when Pony boy was (beaten) slapped by Dally, his brother. Pony boy had should an emotional pain of feeling as he was in shocked by what happened to him. As Pony boy had started to run away , Dally tried to forgive him but it was too late. Ponyboy had already left the house and went to Johnny for some advice since he was going to run away from his problems at home and become like Johnny, uncaring, willing to live in the cold while his parents abuse him for no reason at all. Even Johnny was curious about Pony boy being all high and sad and having tears pour out of him. Johnny then realized that Dally was to hard on Pony boy which upset him emotional inside him .

2.A another part was when, well this isn't part of my assigned part of the book but it is shocking. At the beginning of the story Dally, Ponyboy, and Sodapop was one family who lived under their parents house. But one day both their mother and father were both (dead) hit in a car accident. The three boys have to live by themselves and have no role models since there not there any more. Since that day they weren't the same ever again. Soda dropped out of school.Dally had went to jail for crimes he did. And Pony boy, well lets just say he turned quite rebellious and had to disobey every thing that his brothers told him to do. But at least Soda is nice to Ponyboy unlike Dally who can't control his anger.

3. When Johnny gets hurt due to a stab from a knife by the other gang, the Soc's, they were emotionally scared to death because the others thought they lost Johnny for ever. Even so, Johnny was no good at all since he never had good parents, a good childhood, and even though he was always left on the streets he still mange to survive out in the cold and harsh weather and he managed to keep himself safe.
